Enrique kept good on his promise to someday bring Belen, his wife, and Zaid, his son, to Reynosa so that we

could meet them.  Enrique's father, Bartolo has been saving money for some time so that he could help

Enrique with the cost of the bus tickets to make this all possible.  They arrive last weekend.  What a surprise!

He is one proud husband and one proud daddy. 

Zaid was born with his left foot turned in.  They operated on it to straighten it out but the operation was not

successful.  The doctor who did the operation kept putting casts on over and over again trying to make the

correction but they did not take.  Zaid needs another operation.  A different doctor has offered to do it for $12,000

pesos which is approximately 900 dollars.  Enrique is trying to set up some concerts in churches to raise the

money.  He and Belen want to have it done before Zaid gets too old.

Two families responded to the need.  We were able to provide the $900.00 necessary for Zaid's operation. 

When I went to visit and to give Enrique the money, they were getting ready to return to Puebla.  After I

told him what I had for him, he reached for Belen's hand and together they cried and said,

"Gloria a Dios"...Glory to God!  I received some good hugs as well.  Thank you!
